This generation, Sony has developed or published a large number of great games from dozens of different genres. They've published great shooters (Uncharted 1 and 2, Killzone 2), great action games (inFamous, Heavenly Sword), great RPGs (Demon's Souls, Folklore), great platformers (LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet), great sports games (MLB The Show, Hot Shots Golf), great racing games (Motorstorm, Gran Turismo), and a variety of other titles of varying quality and genres. For those too lazy to read, you can't really say that you enjoy a variety of games and then also claim that Sony doesn't have anything you'd be interested in. Nintendo still has better games, but Sony is also easily one of the greatest publishers of the generation. |
Yea, Sony has published a ridiculously wide range of games this generation, and I think a lot of people don't give them enough credit. Including some very unique games on the PSP/PSN (Patapon, Locoroco, Flower, Echochrome), Sony has dabbled in just about every genre and kind of game imaginable.
