Actually Microsoft come into the gaming industry to be a media player in the living room. They wanted to prevent Sony expanding into the Computer market so they went to battle Sony in the home theatre audience.
and leo j just because Sony showed a tech demo in 2004 doesn't mean Nintendo wasn't already working on their Motion Controls. Hell just look at how long they kept the controller secret. Every thought The Wii show without a control was like WTF IS NINTENDO DOING. HAVE THEY GONE INSANE.
But on that note it doesn't really matter. All console will have motion controls now, which I think is a good thing.
In the end Is it worth seeing this forum with 100s of threads arguing that Sony was first, or Sony Ripped of Nintendo?
