You may not need a CPU as fast as the 965 even. Core i7 is faster, but also a lot more expensive than AMD. At the prices AMD sells chips, they tend to be the same or better value than Intel. Above $200, Intel is the only choice. So we need to know what you're doing with your PC in order to be able to recommend a CPU (and GPU). |
I do 3d animation, music recording/editing and I wanna play the best games out there well.
3d rendering is particularly a slow task on my old pc :p I do need at the very least the 965.
