Although I'd rather be in prison then be in the military is I was a woman. I hope that's the second Obama works on in regard to the miltary. Honestly no offense to gay people, but it should be the first thing. Partially because what happens to a LOT of woman soldiers is worse then being excluded, and partially because the mechanics will be put in place to protect gay people from abuse. 30% of women in the military report being raped... pretty much nobody ever gets charged for it... and quite honestly, rape is the kind of thing that's undereported and likely to be even MORE underreported when they know nothing is going to come of it. Military police need to be their own armed service seperatley who answer to the department of justice i'd say. |
In a Dutch newspost, the Dutch officer the American general said he based his conslusions on, said that he never mentioned anything that could even closely resemble that which the American General said and distances itself from his comments.
And indeed, read too late that he was already retired. Cut his pension perhaps?
