My recommendation is to go for the same make and speed as is in the PS3 at the moment just up the size. The other thing to remember is that you will need two. One to back up all your saves, game data and downloads (you dont want to be re down loading them if you can help it) If you have an older model (i diont know about the slim) Dont go for a 7200rps. I did and with in 3 months I had Ylod, i think due to the extra power being used by the Hdd.
