Urgh, another case of two sites reporting contradicting news, and everybody on the internet believing the one they want to hear. -_-
DMC4 started development on the PS3, so I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the game looked better on it. Not a chance of me ever noticing it with my eye for technology, though. =P
