I got my data directly from this site. According to this site after 1 year 360 sold 5,930,437 units compared to PS3's 5,813,535. Wow a difference of only 116,902! so how much better really is microsoft doing? To date there are 6,731,798 ps3's which is one year and 3 weeks. in that time there were 7,190,927 360's. So my point is PS3 is selling just fine. and i have too much time on my hands. |
That's of course if you look at international numbers, in the US it's down by about a million units after the first year. One would expect a system that can actually sell in Japan and has 2 successful predicessors to sell better than the 360's mediocre first year, not worse.
