Of course I was gaming in the 80s!
What I remember from that time:
- Playing all my games to death because we'd only get games on birthdays (mine and my brother's) and Christmas.
- Games being actually difficult.
- After playing an imported Japanese version of SMB3, I talked to my mom about the game even describing the cartridge extension (Japanese cartridges were smaller than ours). God knows how she found a store that sold imported games but instead of getting SMB3, she got SMB2 (Lost Levels in Super Mario All Star). I was really disappointed because I didn't get SMB3 but I never told her because I knew she had gone through a lot of trouble to find that game.
