I don't know what it is but I have a sneaking suspicion that when the GOTY awards roll around, GoW3 will be overlooked. Not because it's a bad game, just because I think there will be other more recent and/or highly acclaimed games to think about, like ME2, Nintendo's slew of first party titles, Starcraft II, Portal, etc.
