Well since your bringing them into it.
We all know how the MOVE came about..
OT- MS new about this 5 years ago CONFIRMED! |
Design? Yes, I think the design of the Move came from the WiiMote. Not that there would be many other options to be honest. And why shouldn't it. If we go by this, then basically all computers, toasters, TV-remotes, etc rips each other off. The design is the best design available or known, so of course they should use the same.
Tech? Hell no! Sony made the Eye Toy, and basically, it failed. From the old PS2-era Eye Toy tech videos, we can clearly see that Sony is toying with a wand idea. Since Eye Toy failed like it did, maybe Sony wanted to wait and see how the market for motion controls evolved in the future. For all we know, Sony might have reacted to the reveal of the WiiMote like this: "Oh, interesting, they are using this tech. We already have some foundation for this, lets see how it does and launch our within 4 years time". I'm not saying this is the case. But to take it as a rip off from the go, is not right. Especially when Sony has a past with Eye Toy and those tech videos. They have clearly been thinking about this for a long time and had the idea for it waiting. For all we know, Nintendo might have gotten inspiration and ideas from the Eye Toy when they made the WiiMote. How are we supposed to know or believe that the WiiMote is actually an original Nintendo idea? I believe it is, but we have no idea of whats going on behind closed doors and in the mind of Nintendo.

He's the albino that everyone pretends is funny on the PS3 commercials. Nintendo should do a commerical saying the Move is a complete rip off. No jokes, its just reality. |
That is were you are wrong...
