I bet the game looks nice but you are overhyping the importance of visuals no? I really would rather play a lot of the 16 bit games than play uncharted or gears of war based on their graphics. Didnt play god of war 3 yet so I cant coment...

And this comes from a guy with a 67 inch 1080p TV in his living room...and a 50 inch 1080p TV in his bedroom.

Gamplay and player engagement is 10 times more important than graphics...

In God of War III, the visuals ARE important though. It makes all the difference on the battlefield.

And thats the main reason why I put it behind Ninja Gaiden and now bayonetta in a hack and slash category. Visuals are nice but they dont impress me much these days... Kinda like a michael bay movie like transforemers. Sure it looks amazing but its not really something id want to watch twice.

While the game looks extremely great, I find that God of war 3 is all just offence offence...attack! smash!

Where the other two games are more about twitch reflexes. You have to catch on to what the enemy is doing and how they are attacking and quickly react...or you're dead. I find the later as a more engaging experience. But if I wanted to watch someone play a game, I'd watch a God of war game over the other two in a heartbeat.
