I can think of a good many uses for that kind of tech (which looks awesome by the way).

Just think if you had control over the 360o view. Instead of split screen you could that that 360o, split it into 2 or 4 (at most) for your "split screen". If i understand this correctly (and I think I do) it would work perfectly.
Screen 1 = 0o - 179o, Screen 2 180-359o. (tho of course it would have to be much larger than what is displayed)
