I spent about 3 hours with the game, not counting the game overs (yes I died), and I completed the prologue with all the side missions and part of chapter 1. My initial impressions:
Gameplay has been fun so far; there's a lot of attacks and approaches you can take. The last thing I played was the little dungeon thing that was in the demo. Don't know if it's just me but the boss was harder than he was in the demo. He beat me the first time I faced him and almost defeated me a second time. Everything was a piece of cake until I faced him.
I'm amazed and pleased you can accept side missions very early in the game, as well as customizing your weapons and clothing. Customizing your weapons is pretty easy; pretty eager to get more stuff for my guns. One thing I liked about the clothing was you can save costumes.
The music and the voice-acting have been pretty good. Nolan North = God! Zephyr's voice sucks; there's something about it that I don't like.
As for the story, it's been pretty weak and dull so far. Nothing interesting, exciting or memorable has happened other than the funny thing that happened to Zephyr. It's been pretty much: go here, then go here, a little bit of boring talk, then go here, etc. I have no clue why I'm going to those places other than the game or someone telling me to go there. Maybe it becomes clearer once I progress, but it's been vague so far. I noticed the characters look a little grainy during cutscenes. The game runs smooth, but I did install it.
