Well, yes. But you see, Jedi is the fourth largest religion in the UK. You can't call it a cult here really, which is very odd.

It does look like for most people it's not actually a belief but a practical joke.

Of course it was a practical joke, I seriously hope these hundreds of thousands of people don't actually believe Star Wars happened.
