I just saw that too. I was actually thinking that it was going to have a much lower rating, but I think it's up there with the best rankings VGC has given to JRPG's this gen. 

Plus, the actual review is pretty well done. It focus on the strong points of FFXIII, instead of trying to have FFXIII to be something that it isn't, like most reviews I've seen for the game.  

Yeah the review was very good

I would give it around 9.7 or 9.8 personally

but seriously VGChartz is harsh....so I am just happy it got a 9!!

So where are you in the game now?

I left it at the start of Chapter 10, my soul cringed a little when I saw the CP requirements for each orb level for the characters other jobs XD 

I wanted to make Vanille into a Synergist, but I quickly got over that idea XD.  

Chapter 10 is VERY VERY HECTIC & long but has its big rewards!

anyway the CP requirements are ridiculous.....BUT siccne I have maxed out all their primary roles (in chp 11) I have decided to try to max out the other roles too

not cus I'll use them, but just to get my characters HP, Strength, Magic & so on higher!

BTW I just realized the game doesn't have stats like vitality & other ones!

Yeah, but I think that defence and magical defence are somewhat linked to the Strenght and Magic stats. My Lightning has 330 strenght and my Vanille has 200. For an attack that causes 200 on Light, Vanille usually gets hit by 250. 

The requirements are ridiculous, but I need a Synergist in my party and I don't want to take out any of the girls >_> Ahhh, the conundrum
