Yeah... I agree, I couldn't care less to saving the world.
I rather:
>go in a quest to find a baber shop so the HERO could get an hair cut that isn't pointy.
> find some testoterone for my HERO in a bottle so he could get into puberty and grow some facial hair.
>find a gun shop, so my hero could buy a gun and leave the big heavy sword at home.
>use our Hero skills to open a chicken farm with all those chocobos and produce tasty enormous eggs.
