Ok lets look at right now.

PS3 is out selling 360.

Sony hardware is 33.6% of the market, MS 13.9%

Sony is the 3rd highest selling publisher, MS does not even make top 10

Software sold on Sony hardware is 2.59 millon, on MS hardware 2.04 million.

since this is about MS vs Sony and not just PS3 vs Xbox 360, would you please consider Windows, Windows Mobile and Zune as well? These are platforms to sell software on as well... and somehow I think the 90 million PCs running Windows 7 might outsell every product Sony has ever created.
