As someone who has played KZ2, and Crysis on max settings, i'll share my opinion on KZ2 and how I fell crysis 2 will turn out from what I have seen and my experience with the original. Besides MAYBE gun models, animations, some physics elements and AI, Crysis 2 on PC> than KZ2 in technical terms. How much will it be greater? Defininitely not as far as some people would make it sound (there will be no blowing out of the water), but it will clearly have better visuals in most but not all regards.
But not to be rude, but LOL at any one who thinks the console version is going to be close to KZ2. I'ts going to be a FEAR 2 type game. Good enough visuals, but clearly a port, and not even close to the pc version or Killzone 2 graphics, maybe a slightly more impressive port than FEAR 2, at most.
