Global Warming, from an environmentalist 'fundie' perspective is, at best, laughable.

Trying to shove crazy junk down people's throats, arguing it's going to be the end of the world in 50 years is dumb. What's even worse is the following global depression that would/will take place if every one of their whims was met.

Being "environmentally friendly" is a very, very costly business. The huge problem is they propose radical changes along their belief set, and not sound advice to make the environment better. None of them understand economics.

I'm all for energy conservation, and promoting products that are renewable, and help remove individual countrie's dependance on various energy products (ie, US needing so much oil from everyone else).

Ultimately, what matters is improving the environment from a standpoint of being sound economically. If you impose massive cost-inducing changes to US, European, and Japanese economies, you'll send them into recession, while the developing countries get a free pass on environment standards.

It takes unilateral acknowledgement of improving various efficency standards, recycling, and other things that won't kill industries, or economies, but things that get consumers to think smarter (not more expensive), and industry to put out better quality products.

Hopefully the US decides enough is enough soon, and change to more biofuels like hemp and sorgum-based ethanols, and biodiesels. That's alot of bad environment crap there.

Also, killing the 1 billion sacred cows in India off would be another great start. They produce most of the methane in the world.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
