Something that tends to go unsaid is that Nintendo dominates not only their own platforms, but the industry at large. Using the same standard in the OP (which also seems to count Mario & Sonic as 1st party for some reason) and comparing the top 50 games this gen across all platforms...
30 Nintendo
20 Microsoft + Activision + Square Enix + Sony + Rockstar + Majesco + Konami + Capcom + Ubisoft
...3rd parties are looking at a similar ratio of competition no matter where they go really.
edit: And I'm now just noticing that EA doesn't even have one game in the top 50! :x
