That was not my point. Of course Sony has worked on motion technology since years, but they would never go with it as the standard controller before someone else established it. The same goes for Microsoft. They may toy around with new ideas, but they are always going to be peripherals, not the core of an entire system.

@Euphoria14

Did we have threads last year with people claiming that the Classic Controller Pro doesn't resemble the Dualshock design and therefore is not a copy? It's pretty obvious that the CC Pro was intended to look like that to make the transition for PS2 Monster Hunter fans to the Wii as easy as possible. I don't think anyone would deny that.

The main issue with threads like this one (at least for me) is that people act as if Move wasn't inspired by Nintendo's Wiimote and Nunchuk design, therefore it's not fair to call it a copy, clone or rip-off.

because it should not be.

that  is like saying every car copy's another's steering wheel design.

you can make a steering wheel design like a

square

circle

triangle

like a bow tie

they are still the same principle concept a steering wheel.

just like the Wiimote and the Playstation Move is a

(TV REMOTE)

they are still ELECTRONIC WAND'S
