Ratings ae good- Personal taste is better. Dead Rising, to me, is more fun than most of the games on this list.

That's true. Your enjoyment of Dead Rising depends upon how much fun you can make for yourself - and how much you can put up with the save system and time limits. (I don't care for either, so it's sort of off of my list. :) )

Alternatively, I'd put Earth Defense Force 2017 high up there somewhere, as not many reviewers seemed to "get" it.

Also of note is that Oblivion, GRAW, Call of Duty 2, Burnout Revenge, and probably at least one or two other games on that list can be bought at retail for $20 or under each. Plus, SotN, Puzzle Quest, Geometry Wars, and Bomberman Live are all XBLA games, and therefore cheap as hell for the fun to be had.

With all that, plus the newer titles, niche titles rated below the top 30, and a ton of other good XBLA games, it's a good time to be a 360 owner.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
