Why would Nintendo be scared? It's a defensive move (hah). The Move proves that Sony is rattled and trying to catch up, not the other way around.

It's not like Nintendo didn't see this coming. That's why they're always trying to craft new experiences. The balance board in 2008, WM+ in 2009, and now the vitality sensor in 2010.

if your interested I have some Info on Some at Sony's very own R&D also saw it Coming also

Yeah, Sony's R&D saw it coming. It's just that the people who actually call the shots at SCE didn't see the light until sometime around 2007/2008.

Dabbling with new interfaces in R&D and occaisionally punting one out as an add-on isn't anything new, but adopting them as a core focus of the platform is rare, because that's where the real risk is. The money men at Sony and MS weren't willing to take that risk until somebody else took the chance and proved it could work.

yea, It's one of those thing's that the Old Guard did not, or was not sure it would go even though the concept was sound there may have been some factor's that may have stopped them from going forward. like Past Motion Control's
