If Reach fails to equal Halo 3's total LT I will be very surprised. It may not be quite the center of attention that H3 was but the userbase is triple the size.
The biggest drawback is the lack of the star and center of the Halo universe Will a game without the Master Chief have the same draw? I'm not sure but userbase, better multiplayer, a new game engine and an old enemy will make up the difference.
Drawback two is the known outcome. A forlorn hope on a doomed planet, right? Maybe, but I for one will be going down swinging.
