THat's just it, though, those statements of fact are factually wrong and can be refuted as such, and saying "it's just my opinion" wouldn't be defensible. Saying "Futurama's jokes are all about sex" could be factually disputed by tallying up the number of sex jokes compared tto other joeks across a sample of episodes, and it would be easy.

Opinions do not need to be punctuated with "IMO" because doing so is redundant and pandering to people who worry too much about that sort of thing. That's my opinion, of course, but I'm only pointing that fact out for the sake of illustration.
