FFXII is a modern classic right there with Ocarina of time, MGS and FFVII, while FFXIII is a game that's feels rushed (admitted by the director) and more like a solid 8 game.

XII is bigger, better and just more fun to play.

Bigger yeah, more fun to play? I highly doubt it. (IMO)

It's my opinion of course, but not even the biggest FFXII haters can deny that it is a more complete package than FFXIII, which should have been another year in devopement for some real towns and decent sidequests.

I REALLY hated FFXII but yeah it was a more complete game. But i really think that towns wouldn't really work with XIII's story. It just wouldn't make sense for the characters facing the problems that they are facing to wander around towns playing minigames lol.

In FFIX you can play a card game with various NPC which have suffered serious attacks (house destroyed, lost somebody), or collect chests while the world is close to destruccion.

It's a videogame and until this generation people didn't seem to have problem with those things.

Wouldn't have been fun to have a skipping rope minigame with Vanille?
