Really? past FFX? wow that i hope for as i played about 300 hours on FFX and counting! so if FFXIII ends up being my next FFX i will be oh so happy :D yeah i agree its better than all the PS FFs, and yeah the music is better than FFXII even though it wasnt done by Nobuo Uematsu which intrigues me, have they got a composer better than Uematsu?... has hell frozen over?

Masashi Hamauzu is the person who helped Uematsu make the FF10 soundtrack

some of the tracks he made for FFX are amazing

But with FFXIII he shows amazing talent, I wouldn't say the soundtrack in FF13 is better than the PS1 FF soundtrack though, probably better than FF8 though.

I think FFXIII should at the least tie with FFX

The things FF13 has over FF10 are battle system, characters & story.

But on the other hand FF10 has towns (I must admit I miss them a bit), better music & better villains

but hey I'm still only on chapter 10, I say only as some people claim Chapter 11 is the "half way" point.

I'm on chapter 11 and the game really opens up once you reach pulse. I must have explored and did some hunting missions for about 4 hours before continuing with the story and I have only done the class D missions.

By the way, don't try to fight the Brontosaurus creature thingy, especially the big one! The battle was over before I even hit his front-left leg!

Suprisingly it's a pretty lengthy game which is shocking considering the first two discs (Xbox 360 version)/just after aquiring Fang's summon (Ps3 folk) is just a linear corridor.

Note: I don't consider any of the above a spoiler, it's obvious Fang will aquire a summon and it's even more obvious that you will visit Pulse at somepoint.
