My english 101 professor in my first semester impressed upon me that College professors don't put up with bullshit (his words, not mine). It does vary, of course, but i've found that rule to stand with most other professors i've taken

Well my definition of BS is to make a legitimate point sound really grand and corny. I don't have "useless" sentences though. I just write like the Romans did and make it really complicated.
