no no no, i understand what he's trying to say...America IS the most important part of the world, he's trying to say that if you separate the World in Europe/Others/Asia/America, America is the most important, because it's the most hardware/software seller WW, but obviously, if you can mantain the rest of the world with you, then you'll win, but that's really difficult to do.

Well that makes a lot more sense, if that's what he meant. Hardware sales is the discussion at hand here, not software sales. If he said software sales, I'd agree.

 

But to say it's twice as important as the rest of the world COMBINED in terms of strategic importance, that can be misinterpreted, man.

 

He could've explained it the way you did, instead of getting so inflammatory.
