I use an HDMI for my computer. windows 7 64 also. However I get video. But no sound what so ever. I mean the speakers if the monitor pop up as a choice. But no sound comes out. I didn't need to do anything special to get the video to work. It works no matter what turns on first. How odd that our problems are reversed. Lol Wish I could help. Maybe the answer you get can fix my audio problem. ;)
