You can alway make a tinfoil hat for both your PSEye, and your paranoid head.
Unless you have sensitive information displayed in front of your TV, and/or are planning on committing or discussing self incriminating acts in front of your TV, you probably don't have much to worry about.
Or just unplug the camera when you're not using it like most normal people.
