Really, I didn't.  I just had Hope healing while Lightning did the fighting.

Yeah I didn't have to grind either, I did what you did.  Right now since I didn't play yesterday I'm still on Chapter 6, I can't wait to get the point where everything opens up.

yeah i couldnt do the odin battle the first time i ran out of time but the second time was a breeze with constant healing from good ol' Hope :) now just on that bit after that with Sazh and Vanille, interesting pair to battle with
