Hulu still isn't available to Canada right? :( I can't be arsed to go through the steps to use a proxy to spoof an American IP to watch stuff on Hulu (I've tried that and it's too much work to get done successfully for me. Call me lazy. I consider it more convenient to just pirate the shows since I'm already very used to that way of doing things. lol) Hopefully Canada gets Hulu so I can watch tv shows from my Xbox 360. I rarely watch Cable TV. I'm pretty sure I watch more downloaded video (tv shows, movies, youtube videos, etc.) than I do cable tv. I like the convenience of watching my shows whenever I want instead of a set time. Cable is almost completely useless to me.  And yeah I know there are services like On Demand but they don't have everything On Demand. The internet is pretty close to being the ultimate (illicit. lol) On Demand source.

I'm not too bothered by the lack of Netflix in Canada because chances are if I cared enough about movies that I'd prefer to rent them rather than pirate them, I'd rather just go with Blu-Ray (zip.ca already offers Blu-Ray rentals). Unless Netflix Canada were to offer a better selection than zip.ca. Competition is always good to have. No I'm not trolling the 360. Where streaming lacks in quality compared to Blu-Ray, it makes up for it in convenience. I just personally prefer quality over convenience. (with price trumping all factors. That's why I pirate movies. lol The choice that offers the least quality but it's free so it's all good) Even if Netflix did offer Blu-Ray quality 1080p video streaming to you (which it doesn't from what I understand. A Blu-Ray quality movie would probably be close to 25 GB), I wouldn't have the monthly bandwidth to download more than two Blu-Ray quality movies a month anyway.
