But, speaking practically, after four years of Wii games, how many of them allow more than 2 people, each using wiimote and nunchuk? I bet that's a very scarce number.

Mario Party allows for 4 simultaneous Wiimote + Nunchuck experiences, right?  Just trying to think of some.  What about MW: Reflex or any game that has 4 player split screen?  Do those?  Red Steel, maybe?
