That's why I mentioned the Gamecube. Resident Evil 4 was brilliant on the Wii was brilliant. And there are games I will suffer through bad controls and QTE's, Heavy Rain comes to mind, but these controls are just soooooo sensitive and you basically have to hump something for a prompt to come up and he puts his gun away every two seconds. Blah, they're just terrible. And then the random unforgiving QTE. I failed the first one because random unforgiving quick time events just plain suck like that but then the fact I failed the second one even though I was doing it was just awful. With something like Heavy Rain they may have failed miserbly on the controls but at least they handled Quick Time Events well so I can kind of forgive that game, but this game, fuck it. |
Yeah, I played the Heavy Rain demo and simply hated the game due to its controls. Seemed to be a game only build around QTEs.
