When the Dual Analog came out for the PS1, many games had a configuration for the original and analog controller. The only "Must Use Dual Shock" game didn't come for years (Ape Escape). Still, even the games that weren't analog still functioned with the Dual Analog/Dual Shock. It was a good move.

I assume many upcoming games will feature a "Playstation Move" configuration, too. Maybe even some older games will be patched to use the device. I just don't know if that's the best way to market the device as a must have.  Part of me thinks that this is just technology that exists just so Sony can say, "We have the technology".  Anything that the Wii and 360 will be able to do, the PS3 will technically be able to do, too.  But the games that are Move Only won't move huge numbers because it's a peripheral.  It will be limited to only those that own the peripheral.  Any game that is useable with both the Move (I preferred "Arc") and the Dual Shock 3 will probably have a legion of gamers who think, "If I can use a DS3, why do I need to buy a Move?"  I think Nintendo did it best when they decided that the Wii Remote/Nunchuck would be the ONLY source of input for most games.  Using a controller wasn't even an option.

This is Sony's battle to win or lose.  I'm sure some sort of strategy is in place.  Plus, playing a game like RE4: Wii Edition on an HD console is a dream come true.  The Move definitely isn't a bad thing.  I just can't figure out how it will be a HUGE thing.
