America was never a *white* country in the first place anyway, the natives weren't white. its not like anyone has a claim to the land, and look, now they have a half-black president. i think its all awesome. when are people going to realise that colour is just another feature, if nobody had any skin we'd all look more or less the exact same. melting pot FTW. |
This reminds me of when the NY Times was going to run an article about some Jamaicans. The writer called them black, but the editor wanted him to change it to "African American". The author tried his best to tell the editor that there not American's, there Jamaicans.
Editor didn't care.
