I'm not sure I want PS2, Wii and DS ports on my PS3.

Neither am I, but clearly we're going to get them anyway!

I'm actually pretty sure that Sony's taken the view that:

1 - the Wii has set the baseline and to try something like Natal is too inherently risking as it is trying to reset the basic baseline for motion controls and is therefore riskier business move

2 - that by being similar PS3 will essentially get lots of Wii, etc. games ported over plus going forward developers will put titles on PS3/Wii but might hold of on Natal if it's too different vs the easy match of mote/nunchuck - i.e. in much the same way today we get 360/PC titles for easy conveincene we get PS3/Wii titles for easy convienience

3 - they will get sales from people (like me) who bought a PS3/Wii and who might be 'contained' to just the PS3 if it offers similar motion control experiences (personally I think Sony is underestimating how much Mario, etc. helps although clearly the main draw with Wii is Sports, Wii Fit, etc. for the non-Nintendo in-crowd getting Wii's who never bothered with a Gamecube).

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
