| Raze said: This argument is kind of pointless overall. Both MS and Sony are trying to gain marketshare from Nintendo by implementing motion controls. However, casuals are just that- casuals. They buy one system every 10 years at best, and they already bought a Wii. The tech for both Sony and MS is great for its existing gamerbase, and I'm sure will have many good titles for it. Yet, overall, its not a market-changer due to the nature of the Wii install base. |
in sony's case I don't think that's what this is going for:
notice how many 3rd party developer's have stated:
"Wii cannot sell HARDCORE GAME'S"
We know that's false, but with a control setup like the Wii the PS3 now is a
2nd platform for Wii only 3RD PARTY application's that can be offered to 3rd party's.
now with some tweaking Microsoft offer's a 3rd option. this is not about grabbing the casual , as so much grabbing 3rd party Wii only development project's.
which with what I can see sofar both Microsoft and Sony have a very good chance of getting some of those 3rd party Wii only software project's.
