ok its time to refute some of this nonsense
1) HD cables do not cost 30,50, and 70...wii component cables i got for $15 and HDMI cables range from $10-$120 so $50 and $70 are nonsense
2)yes the 360 comes with a game and so does the wii, and if you shop in the right place you can get a ps3 bundle too
3)sony motion controllers were said to be *under $100 dollars and came with an eyetoy which you only need one of and a game meaning the controller itself will not be $100...you do not need 4 eyetoys and 4 of the same game packaged with the psMove
4)do all ps3 games cost $60? no in fact there are a bunch of good games priced at $30 now and if you shop the right way you can get them cheaper (ebay, used, overstock.com)
5)360 wifi adapter is $100 but you can buy the old one for $80
6)30% of the wii owners will be selling once the new motion control systems ---just checked and that's out of 180 votes on a hardcore gaming forum...won't make a difference at all
7)the first article is from 2006...what year is it again?
8)you're basing the natal price on michael pachter's guess. I enjoy michael pachter's gaming analysis but that doesn't mean it is correct at all. although odds are it is close
9)last i checked you do not need to buy 4 controllers for any console if you have friends. friends always have at least one extra controller to bring over. same will go for natal and psMove
here's a glimpse of how I purchased my ps3
ps3 slim with rachet and clank: a crack in time and little big planet goty edition - $300
fifa 10 - $35
Metal gear solid 4- $30
resident evil 5- $20
grand theft auto 4-$15
folklore-$15
2- 6foot HDMI cables and a surge protector -$50 (i definitely paid too much for this)
total-$465 (+ tax/shipping so about $500) for ps3, 7 games, HD unlocked and surge protector
try shopping online with ebay, overstock.com and other websites. also look for holiday bundles. all of these will save you so much money...
