PS "ARC" it only does everything interview, is it just a wii mote 2.0?

Well to be fair there is nothing really on the Wii for hardcore gamers only hardcore Nintendo fans and casuals.. But I guess that all could be argued as opinion anyways.

well yes there is something for everyone on every console, but there is not everything for someone on any other console, and that's what This guy from Sony is trying to say. That's what makes it different.

  No, I mean there is something for everyone on each machine. More than enough for any individual if they look and experiment. To say otherwise is close-minded. There's so many games on each system that every user is catered for. I'm serious.

The Wii has 'hardcore' (meaning teenage-twenty-something males in actuality) games such as Call of Duty, Monster Hunter, Metroid, Zelda, Resident Evil 4, Red Steel 2, Silent Hill, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, No More Heroes and its sequel, Cursed Mountain, Godfather, Scarface, Bully and so on. All good to excellent games that appeal to that market. The hardcore gamer segment is a myth of young nerdy, online men that seek to explain why games sell on PS3 and Xbox that have yet not sold marvellously on Wii.  The reason being poor effort, poor marketing and a lack of that casual and internet gaming obsessive young male consumers. Those games exist on Wii, perhaps without the technological flair, but the basic gameplay is there and is there with some unique and engaging controls. Like I said there is something for all on it, but perhaps not the numbers of titles that are found elsewhere. After all, the Wii is better at catering for older males, younger males and females than the other two consoles, but they, too, have some games for those segments.

I don't know have you played Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, GOWIII Demo, or the Call Of Duty Games?? I don't think there is anything remotely close to that on the Wii. There are good games that I could enjoy but there is not every type of experience I want on the wii. The Wii can't make those types of games because their hardware is limiting. And that's the point. If I was going to buy a wii and be happy with it and say there are enough great games for me to play I might as well stick with just playing on the PS2 or my PS1 from back in the day or the first Nintendo. But what the PS3 offers, experiences that the Wii cannot offer or has not offered.

Could you imagine playing UC2 with the Arc? How about GoW? No one would want to play a game like those with an attachment like the Arc.

Motion sensors do well with casuals. Casuals love gimmicks. However, there's many hardcore gamers that would rather have a controller in their hands rather than a gimmick that they have to get used to. It's a completely different demographic when you're aiming with new technology.

Don't expect UC3 to use the Arc in other words. Or any of these hardcore games you mentioned. Even if they have the function, well over 90% of the consumers will just stick with the controller they already have anyway.

Because 'casuals' are idiots, yeh?

Come on. It is not a gimmick. Look at how the Wiimote revolutionised Pro Evo Soccer, for example. Gimmicks are for lazy developers. People with intelligence see potential for a new style of game, renewing the genre. Call of Duty also plays slightly better (for me anyway) than the HD versions (though some of the features are omitted)
