Can't double as a gamepad?

You know, like in NSMBWii, Punch Out!!, Metroid: Other M, NES games on the VC, etc.. The Move is a little less flexible than the wiimote. Not a big deal, but it could lead to more expense if you want to support many players in different games. A wiimote alone can work as a gamepad, the Move needs an added sub-controller.

I suppose I could just roll that in under the 'more expensive' point.

IT DOESN'T HAVE A D-PAD?

Waaaagh

If it did, how the hell would you get at it around that huge glowing orb?

I've heard some people can rock a wiimote with WM+ NES-style, but I don't really get that, either.
