This video shows something very different from what the "Move" is now. The video shows a wand (something to make tricks) and not a motion controller that will work with some real games.
You can't even call it "prototype" if the idea is completely different.
Sony is obviously trying to succeed using what Nintendo made in order do succeed. Only a blinded person can't see what they are doing: Bigger support for the casual market, a motion controller very similar to the Wii Remote and a game VERY similar to Wii Sports (with the same premise and with "sport" in the name).
Playstation Move is probaly an improvement over Wii-Remote, but not a improvement over Wii Motion plus (which is 1:1).
So yes, it's a rip-off of Nintendo's Wii Remote.
