Non sarcastically this time. I think there are 2 schools of thought here: 1 is the "who came up with the idea first?" school of thought. In this case I don't know if we could ever really find out who came up with it first. The second is is Sony doing this to "cash in" in the Wii's success an try to make a grab at those customers, and the answer to that is a resounding "Hell Yes!"
The final thought on top of this is: Is it a bad/unethical thing? Of course not, just like Natal, anaolog sticks, bumper buttons, disk based games and any other thing before it; one company makes something popular then someone comes along and tweaks it to make it better. It's how the industry progresses and we should be damned thankful that they do it.
