You can't reboot something like Superman, especially when the good movies were made back in the 70s, his comic book history is a joke and messed up. I'm not a fan of superman either... but underhanded and shady?  Superman is the exact opposite, that's why so many people hate him.  He's the quientasential "I do the right thing always, and it always turns out right guy" whos better then you at everything.  I mean there is a reason his biggest nickname is "The Big Blue Boyscout".

Don't get me wrong, I don't like him for that reason too. His brand of "I have powers so I have to" thing is getting old. His right thing is morally wrong on a lot of occasions because he thinks it's the right thing to do, based on his powers not what actually is the right thing. This has been shown in many stories because of his level of power.

 

But tell me, is writing for a newspaper about yourself and publishing your work under a different name and then praising yourself the right thing? Or it is amazing biased?

Only 2 heroes who have any respect from me who truely do the morally right things are Spider-man and Cap A.

But Spiderman made a deal with the devil... and I'm not being figurative here... he literally made a deal with the devil.

However yeah, it is easy for Superman to always do the right thing because he's superman, unlike say Captain America who has to stand up to people who can pretty much destroy him millions of times over.

It's always funny to see Cap still put up a fight after all the avengers are down vs a being with unbelievable cosmic power.  He'd fight Galactus 1 on 1 just to make a point.
