How? What new feature can be used to change the way the motion controls work? The article above highlights just how little of a change there is. Shooters will control the same, lolwaggle minigame collections will function the same, and the motion detection itself will largely be unchanged. There is nothing so different as to open up a new avenue to performing an action. Sensor, gyroscope, and buttons to make traditional games possible to work on system/control set-up.

Well, I think integration with a camera makes it vastly different then the wiimote, you don't even need any other features and it's already a totally different device. Then it can also measure distance from the camera so you can play in the z-plane, theres no strap between your right and left hand so you can use it more comfortably, and it glows, which has been pointed out to be pretty baddass.

read two posts above you...he explains it perfectly.  It's the same thing, but upgraded to run better. (at least i hope it runs better)

 

No wire fits under the. "upgraded" aspect.
