It's a Toshiba laptop and you may have even gotten an email from a Toshiba domain, but an ad agency ran that ad and contacted Toshiba.  I know I'm negative, but there are two reasons they can give you a laptop for free:

1. Your current laptop is probably better than that one
2. They take any information you give them and sell it to anyone that will buy it.

If you gave them a phone number, be prepared to get hammered by telemarketers.  If you gave them an email address, prepare to be spammed.  If you gave them a physical address, prepare to get loads of junk mail.

You've already shown them that you're perfectly willing to play their game so your information is like gold and there's no reason they wouldn't sell it.

I have to agree with twestern on this one. You are going to be spammed to hell and back and probably never even actually get the laptop. Good luck though
