I don't know have you played Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, GOWIII Demo, or the Call Of Duty Games?? I don't think there is anything remotely close to that on the Wii. There are good games that I could enjoy but there is not every type of experience I want on the wii. The Wii can't make those types of games because their hardware is limiting. And that's the point. If I was going to buy a wii and be happy with it and say there are enough great games for me to play I might as well stick with just playing on the PS2 or my PS1 from back in the day or the first Nintendo. But what the PS3 offers, experiences that the Wii cannot offer or has not offered. |
Could you imagine playing UC2 with the Arc? How about GoW? No one would want to play a game like those with an attachment like the Arc.
Motion sensors do well with casuals. Casuals love gimmicks. However, there's many hardcore gamers that would rather have a controller in their hands rather than a gimmick that they have to get used to. It's a completely different demographic when you're aiming with new technology.
Don't expect UC3 to use the Arc in other words. Or any of these hardcore games you mentioned. Even if they have the function, well over 90% of the consumers will just stick with the controller they already have anyway.
