You are looking at the wrong reason for the Wii's success. It is not simly the control method but accessibility, and making new types of games for new markets. Something that Sony has not yet proven they can pull off. A motion controller will not change this unless Sony actually uses it to make these new type of games that can market to a wide variety of audiences and bring it new ones.
