Why FFXIII doesn't "feel" like a FF game

Oh no disagreement from me, the fact they took the FF theme after beating an enemy out though, that might be the reason people feel it doesn't feel like a game, and the FF theme music as well ding, ding, ding, Ding, DIng, DINg, DING... etc music as well :)

Oh yeah, and the fact you heal automatically after every battle... so kinda not FF style, I remember playing tons of FF games where I was low on life and looking for a save spot to pitch a tent as I was outta pots...  and the fact that pots heal everyone in party, and also doesn't affect your ATB?

 

Seems like they dumbed down the game to make it easier, don't know why.. oh wait yeah it's on 360 now right?  Explains why they dumbed it down..  (Let the flames start!)
